The Medical Board of Australia (MBA) has introduced new guidelines for practitioners who perform cosmetic surgical and non-surgical procedures, highlighting the importance of diagnosing and managing patients with Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD).
The Motivated Patient Examination and its accompanying resources are designed to keep practitioners up to date with the latest research and academic perspectives on BDD. You will be provided with relevant resources, including a link to the DSM-V and selected peer-reviewed papers. If a specific paper is not included, you are encouraged to create a PubMed account and search for “Body Dysmorphic Disorder” to explore the most current peer-reviewed literature.
Complete a 20-question quiz (multiple choice and true/false) in 30 minutes with an 80% pass mark and unlimited attempts. Resources are available during the exam. Participants can re-enrol as often as they wish.
