What is ACAM?

ACAM (Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine) is a professional college supporting doctors and nurses working in aesthetic and cosmetic medicine through education, training, and advocacy.

Who can join ACAM?

Membership is open to registered medical and nurse practitioners with an interest in aesthetic medicine. Specific membership types and pathways are available depending on your qualifications and experience.

How can I enrol in an ACAM course?

Enrolments are handled online through the ACAM website. Some courses have specific enrolment windows or prerequisites.

What kind of membership does ACAM offer?

ACAM offers Ordinary Membership for doctors, Associate Membership for nurses, and Fellowship Membership for those who have either completed the fellowship pathway or meet the equivalency criteria.

What education and training does ACAM provide?

ACAM offers a range of educational opportunities including fellowships, online courses, online and in-person workshops, webinars, and networking opportunities.

Will ACAM courses count for my CPD points?

Yes. ACAM’s educational activities are accredited for CPD with relevant bodies such as RACGP, ACRRM, and AMA CPD Home. Certificates of completion are issued to support self-reporting if required.

How do I get my membership certificate?

Membership certificates are emailed once your application and payment are processed. If you lose your certificate, you can request a replacement from the ACAM office.

Does ACAM advocate for the cosmetic medicine profession?

Yes. ACAM actively represents members in discussions about professional standards, education, and regulation with the Medical Board of Australia and other stakeholders.
