ACAM Review of Medical Board Guidelines for Cosmetic Practitioners

In 2022, the Medical Board of Australia released the Guidelines for Registered Medical Practitioners Who Perform Cosmetic Procedures, outlining its expectations for cosmetic medical practice. This marked a significant shift in training, practice standards, and CPD requirements.

This resource has been developed to help practitioners review these guidelines and explore the related Acts and regulations that apply. It serves as an introductory guide only; practitioners must ensure they fully understand and meet all obligations set out by the Medical Board of Australia.

This self-paced course uses the Cambridge Methodology and requires formal enrolment. Once enrolled, you’ll receive your course materials and be expected to create a PubMed account (fee applies).
