Course Information
This course features 11 online lessons across 4 learning units, each with engaging video presentations, downloadable workbooks, and slide transcripts.
At the end of every lesson, you’ll complete a multiple-choice quiz with a 100% pass mark required to proceed. Quizzes include the built-in Quiz-Assist® feature, guiding you to the relevant study materials if you don’t pass on the first try. Learners have up to 8 attempts per quiz. If you reach the 8-attempt limit, the course will be terminated, though support is available should you need help unlocking progress or have further questions.
After completing all units successfully, you can download your statement of completion.
The course content is biased towards cutaneous laser/IPL cosmetic procedures (hair reduction, photo rejuvenation, pigmented and vascular lesion treatments, acne, and tattoo removal) although medical/surgical applications are covered briefly (OBGYN, ENT, surgery, ophthalmic treatments, EVLT, laser lipolysis and laser vaginal skin tightening).
The four units of the Laser Physics and Safety Officer Course are:
